Our Story

We're not outsiders building software for a community we don't know.

We're part of it.

Born from the competition field — not a boardroom.

Co-founders Luke Ashton and Ben Elliot are both competitive bagpipers who've spent years participating in highland games and piping competitions across the country. They've experienced firsthand what it feels like when an event is run brilliantly — and what it feels like when it isn't.

To make competitive events run so smoothly that the people who love them can focus entirely on the experience, not the logistics.

Co-Founder

Ben Elliot is a competitive bagpiper of over 20 years, having played in pipe bands across Ontario, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Outside of bagpiping, Ben is a software engineer with experience building and scaling products for large and demanding user bases — the kind of environments where reliability isn't optional.

We're building this with the community, not just for it.

From day one, we're working directly with event organizers to understand their real challenges, test our ideas, and make sure Glentrack actually solves the problems that matter most.

If you run a highland games and want to be part of shaping what Glentrack becomes, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.
